Gary Wexler

Adjunct Professor Gary Wexler, is one of the most popular lecturers in the Masters in Communication program at USC-Annenberg. His creative workshop style sessions rooted in Design Thinking, overflow with students challenged to develop big ideas and concepts—-whether the class is in Advertising and Creativity, or Nonprofit Movement Building. He is also on staff at Cal State University, Long Beach, teaching the creative process to visiting Chinese business and entertainment delegations.

Gary’s first career was in advertising as a copywriter and creative director, developing award winning campaigns for clients ranging from Apple to Coca Cola. In his forties he took a swift turn into the nonprofit world, bringing his creative and marketing talents to causes in America, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe and Israel, working for NGOs and foundations ranging from the Ford Foundation to the causes of Steven Spielberg.

Today, at the ripe young age of 65, Gary has entered the startup world. He is in partnership with several of his Millennial students producing The Red Table, a 90 minute creative journey for either business or nonprofits, leading to unprecedented solutions and ideas that can change their future.
